Network Monitoring for Cisco Medianet in the InteropNet NOC

SevOne is an industry leader in support for NetFlow and other flow-based technologies, and has been working closely with Cisco to maximize the value of Flexible NetFlow for application delivery, including latency, jitter, and packet loss reporting for Medianet applications. By leveraging flexible fields in NetFlow v9, Medianet performance monitor provides data that typically requires polling or separate tools to obtain. This substantially closes the gap with packet-based instrumentation, and therefore dramatically reduces overall management costs, while accelerating a network manager’s ability to optimize and improve the network in support of key business applications.
SevOne’s
network performance management solution will be

featured as part of the Cisco Medianet solution in the InteropNet Network Operations Center (NOC) to provide critical network performance visibility. SevOne’s participation in the InteropNet demonstrates the use of
Flexible NetFlow to monitor the performance of Cisco Medianet applications.
InteropNet provides a reliable, high-speed network backbone serving the exhibitors, conference rooms and attendees at the Interop Las Vegas 2011 taking place May 10-12, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
In addition to our InteropNet NOC participation, our CTO, Vess Bakalov, will participate in a panel session with other network management industry leaders, led by Jim Frey, Managing Research Director with Enterprise Management Associates (EMA). The session takes place on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 9:00 AM – 10 AM PDT and the topic is Advances in Network Management.
If you will be at Interop next week, drop me an email at pcruz@sevone.com. We'd love to meet with you! Hope to see you in Vegas, and at the EMA session.
